Shipping Policy

All orders are shipped from Bern, Switzerland. Please review the following information regarding our shipping procedures.

1. Shipping Methods and Delivery Times

Orders are shipped via Priority Mail. Due to international customs processing, unexpected delays may occur. As a result, we cannot guarantee exact delivery dates. If your order is time-sensitive, we recommend selecting an expedited shipping option during checkout.

2. Taxes, Duties, and Customs

Byrds & Bytes GmbH is located in Switzerland. The prices displayed in our web shop do not include Value Added Tax (VAT) for deliveries outside of Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

As the importer, you are responsible for paying any applicable local VAT, customs duties, tariffs, and handling feesrequired by your country. These charges are typically collected by the postal carrier upon delivery. We are unable to estimate these costs; please consult your local customs office for further information.

3. Customs Declarations

We are legally required to accurately declare the value and contents of every package. We cannot mark items as "gifts," "samples," or undervalue orders on customs forms.

4. Refused Shipments

If a shipment is refused at customs or returned to us due to unpaid import duties, we will issue a partial refund once the items are returned to our facility. We will deduct the original shipping costs and any additional return carrier fees from your refund.

5. Order Fulfillment and Modifications

Our order fulfillment process is automated. Once an order is submitted, it cannot be modified, canceled, or combined with other orders. We are unable to manually add or remove items after an order is placed. Please review your cart and shipping address carefully prior to completing your purchase.
